The service

English Reader offers articles for English learners with AI-generated narration, a dictionary and a personal vocabulary list. It is provided free of charge and “as is”, without guarantees of availability or accuracy.

Content and licenses

• Each article shows its source and license at the end. Articles from Wikipedia are used under CC BY-SA, and this site’s copy and narration of them are available under the same license.
• Original articles belong to their author unless stated otherwise.
• Narration is generated by AI and may contain mistakes.
• Dictionary data: ECDICT (MIT license), Wiktionary (CC BY-SA), pronunciations from Wikimedia Commons (various free licenses).

Your account

You can sign in with Google to keep a vocabulary list and reading progress. Please don’t misuse the service (for example, automated scraping). See the privacy policy for what is stored; you can delete your account at any time.
